Get the Picture on Tattoos: Love 'em or Lose 'em - Carefair.com Survey Gives Readers' Opinions

Zug, Switzerland (PRWeb) November 27, 2006 -- According to www.VanishingTattoo.com, 24% of people between the ages of 24 and 50 have tattoos. With nearly a quarter of that segment of the population having at least one or more, it is obvious that the tattoo industry is thriving.

But do any of these people have regrets over their body art? Celebrity Pamela Anderson's passion for her ex, Tommy Lee, was so intense, that she had his name tattooed on her ring finger. But times change, and so do people, and eventually Pamela reportedly had the name "Tommy" recrafted into the word "Baby" in honor of her child. Just how many people have regrets and go through the painful and expensive process of having their tattoo removed? In our latest poll 22% wished they had never stepped foot in the tattoo parlor. According to American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) fall journal of 2003, a colorful tattoo that costs $50 to $100 to obtain, can command a price of $1500 to remove.
