Nashville Photography Studio S Announces Policy Requiring All Clients Under 18 to Be Accompanied by Legal Guardian During Photo Shoots

Nashville, TN (PRWEB) April 29, 2008 -- Nashville Photographer Kevin Sommers, of www.studio-s-photo.net announces that all photography clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian to sign a release both before and after the photo shoot.

Nashville Photographer Kevin Sommers, of www.studio-s-photo.net , announces that all clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian to sign a release both before and after the photo shoot. Such a policy regarding teens puts the parents more at ease and reflects the legal environment which photographers must recognize. Studio S Photography is a photographic studio serving the upscale portrait photography market for the greater Nashville area. His target market includes headshots for professionals, musicians and actors, modeling portfolios, senior and family portraits, engagement portraits and keepsake portraits for individuals.

The policy requiring a parental release most often comes up during the context of senior portraits and modeling portfolios. Mr. Sommers also holds a law degree cum laude from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California in addition to being a professional photographer. Therefore, in today's legal environment, Mr. Sommers believes that it is best to err on the side of caution. Although it may cost him some business from high school seniors that are put off by the requirement, it is more that made up for by parents that make the choice of photographer. Parents want to be assured of a safe environment for their teens during their senior picture and modeling portfolio sittings

Another advantage to the Studio S Photography policy of having a parent present is that Studio S requires payment at the time services are rendered. Having a parent at the sitting makes receiving payment much easier. The teens also tend to remember to bring the clothing choices discussed and so forth prior to the shoot.

Studio S provides both contemporary classic upscale black and white portraits and distinctive color portraits to the Nashville market. Mr. Sommers operates Studio S out of a 1910 historic bank building in Kingston Springs which he converted into a state of the art studio. Kingston Springs is a bedroom community west of Nashville. Unique to his studio is his personal 90 acre estate type property known as The Farm which offers exclusive outdoor location shoot locations only 2 minutes from his studio. The Farm is considered an extension of the Studio. The studio and The Farm can be viewed in the Gallery section of www.studio-s-photo.net.

Kevin Sommers and Studio S Photography are also known for innovative pricing. For the upfront sitting fee, the client gets a DVD that has been color corrected with minor Photoshop work with a copyright grant allowing the client full use of the prints for reprints and use on the web.
